Golden Eagle Summer Sports Camp- Los Altos and Cupertino, California

Monica Lodge has owned and directed Golden Eagle Summer Sports camp for the past 26 years. All four of her children, Annelie, Kristoph, Stefaan and Erika, attended camp as children. Monica worked at Los Altos High School as a coach, physical education teacher and Athletic Director from 1965 until her retirement in 2006.

When Monica is not directing Golden Eagle Summer Sports Camp, she is an avid hiker and traveler. She recently traveled to Africa and hiked 19,000 ft. to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Stefaan Lodge has been co-owner of Golden Eagle Summer Sports Camp and the Director of the Los Altos site since 2002. He began attending the camp in 1984 when it was started by his parents, Nelson and Monica Lodge. Through the years he attended camp as a camper and worked as a junior and senior counselor before taking over as owner and director.

Stefaan was a three-sport varsity high school athlete and currently coaches the Los Altos varsity badminton team.

Garrett Middleton has been working with the Golden Eagle Sports Camp for over a decade. He brings a wealth of knowledge from his thirteen years experience of being a teacher, coach (basketball, softball, track & field, etc), and athletic director at the Cupertino Middle School. He also enjoys watching his two young boys (Drew, 8 and Griffin, 5) thrive in the atmosphere of the Golden Eagle Sports Camp.
